That’s a pretty slick way to show off a model kit.

Better close ups from Dengeki Hobby. Armored one is definitely jointed and has an alternate face plate. The light armor one is probably just the early design sculpt before they split it into a jointed figure. Only thing left to worry about is if this will be kits like the actual Frame Arms line or closer to an off the shelf action figure like Shinkis were. Either way, very excited about this.

So five years ago some artists in Japan put together a Frame Arms fan book with a new mecha musume design by Shimada Humikane front and center. All I’ve ever seen of it is this post so I don’t even know what the rest of the book entailed, but I hoped more would come of it.

Fast forward to a half hour ago, when Kotobukiya tweeted a new product line debuting next spring: Frame Arms Girl - and pics with a prototype of the first one, which is Shimada’s design. It’s no Shinki, but I for one welcome these new FAGs and look forward to more info.

No joints on the prototype, but the one in back is clearly a different pose but wearing the same gear, so I’m hoping they take the obvious route and make action figures with swappable armor. If not, well, that would suck.

yes good

I finally moved all my stuff upstairs into my office.  It’s nearly set up now, I just need to buy a futon/couch for guests to sleep on.  I included some select closeups of my figs as well.

Nice.

I never should have passed on this when I had the chance. Oh well. Maybe I’ll get lucky sometime in the future.

Care of the latest Vox: it looks like the massive awesome looking super robots are might be* getting 8” versions as well. Which is tempting. Very tempting.

On second thought, it’s probably just them slathering new logos on their teaser graphics.

Just got this in the mail today: laser etched mirror acrylic Shinki status screen from Richigo. Oversized version of this, which is still great and much more reasonably sized. Totally unexpected and awesome.

New stuff for my Shinki flat in a converted computer case: tiny Detolf style shelf and a neat computer terminal. Righigo’s laser cut goods are awesome.

Neat.

New Revoltech R2D2 shown at Wonfes. Sculpt and proportions look better than the Black Series one on my shelf, but we’ll see how well it scales with 6” figures and how the production version quality turns out.
Hasbro’s prototype looked pretty great too, but the result was a let down.
